One of our favorite places to stop on the way home from Estes Park is Lily Lake.
We were saddened by the recent floods in our area. There was so much damage, it was hard to see a place we love suffer so much. However, it was amazing to see everyone work together to help those in need. We went with our church to help muck out basements in some of the areas that were hit the hardest; it was devastating to see homes that lost so many treasured items.We were joined by so many other organizations, churches and people who just wanted to help. What a wonderful feeling of friendship, love and service.
There is still lots of work to do but we are thankful to work side by side with great people. Regardless of religion or belief most people believe in helping others and the joy it brings. You are welcome to join us in the clean up effort anytime.
